Een Nintendo struik

Vandaag (of eigenlijk gisteren) werdt de President van Amerika, beter bekend onder de naam Bush, 60 jaar. Een wonder als je bedenkt hoe dom dit persoon overkomt, en dan doel ik op zowel het behalen van die leeftijd als wel zijn behaalde funtie. Nintendo vondt het blijkbaar ook niet echt een snugger persoon en wilde ze daar graag verandering in brengen. Dus stuurde zij een kadootje (een NintendoDS lite plus Brain Training) op naar de commander-in-chief met een leuk briefje, die je hieronder kunt lezen (mits je de engelse taal beheerst, zoniet dan moet je er maar iemand bij vragen die dat wel doet).

Vraag me trouwens af of Brain Training helpt bij Bush. Ik bedoel, als het er niet is kun je het toch ook niet trainen. Maar goed, wie weet gebeurd er toch nog iets in die bovenkamer. Al bij al is het wel een geinige marketing truc. In ieder geval beter dan die van Sony voor hun PSP in Europa.


Ik bedoel, elk weldenkend persoon kan toch vooruit bedenken dat deze reclame campagne problemen opleverd met de bevolkingsgroep van gekleurde medemensen? Want tja, je ziet hier toch duidelijk een vorm van racisme in? Want het is toch oneerlijk dat er eerst een zwarte PSP uitkwam. Ik bedoel dat past toch totaal niet bij mijn huidskleur?

Voordat ik door mensen uit wordt gemaakt voor racist even de voetnoot dat dit stukje totaal sarcastisch bedoeld is en dat men de woorden in zijn geheel niet serious moet nemen (ja, ook het stukje over Bush).
